  • We sharpen your knives and tools in our mobile workshop at your house. We service the Greater Charleston area (James Island, Johns Island, West Ashley, Mount Pleasant, Kiawah, North Charleston, Summerville, Ravenel).

  • Looking Sharp provides professional mobile knife sharpening in Charleston and surrounding areas. All sharpening is done on-site in our mobile workshop, so your knives are sharpened and returned the same day.

  • Our pricing is simple and straightforward:

    • Up to 10 knives: $99

    • Additional knives: $10 per knife

    • Scissors: $15/or two knives in standard package

    • Other tools: quoted per tool

    This pricing includes on-site sharpening and same-day return. No hidden fees.

  • To schedule knife sharpening, simply choose a week that works best for you. The Friday before your selected week, you’ll receive a message confirming the exact day we’ll be in your area.

  • Once your items are completed, an invoice will be sent. If you choose to pay by credit card a non-cash fee is included. This 3% charge will be removed if paying cash at the time of return.

  • No. If you’re not able to be home, you may leave your knives in a secure, clearly labeled container at your door. Your knives will be sharpened in our mobile workshop and returned the same day.

  • Sharpening is completed on-site and typically takes a short amount of time once we arrive. All knives are returned the same day- usually less than two hours for a standard kitchen.

  • We sharpen most household kitchen knives, including:

    • Chef’s knives

    • Kitchen knives

    • Utility knives

    • Fillet knives

    • Scissors

    • Miscellaneous tools

    If you have specialty or high-end knives and aren’t sure if they’re a good fit, feel free to contact us before booking.

  • For most home cooks, knives should be sharpened every 3-6 months, depending on use. Regular sharpening keeps your knives safer, sharper, and performing their best.
